An athlete's app — from an empty repository to the App Store
www.tierone.fitTierOne is APPA Media's own product rather than client work — which is exactly why we can show the whole journey with nothing left out. The brief: build a product that replaces five apps that never talk to each other. Training, food, sleep and habits in one place, with an AI layer that sees a specific person's real numbers. Not a prototype, but a finished app able to pass Apple's review.
How we did it

Web and PWA on Next.js 16, React 19 and Tailwind 4 — one codebase for web and mobile
iOS build via Capacitor, shipped under appId fit.tierone.app
Supabase backend — authentication and Postgres on EU servers, Redis for caching
Payments through two paths: Stripe on the web, RevenueCat for in-app purchases
An AI layer on top of user data — meal recognition from a photo, weekly review, training volume guidance
Seven integrations with devices and services: Apple Health, WHOOP, Strava, Hevy, Polar, Withings and Google Fit

Numbers that speak clearly
Between February and August 2026 an empty repository became a finished app approved by Apple for the App Store — 81 screens, 164 API endpoints, 54 database migrations and seven integrations. The web app and PWA run on tierone.fit, data sits on EU servers, and users can export or delete it at any time. TierOne is a new app at the start of its journey: we quote no download or rating figures, because there aren't any yet. What is visible is the scope and the speed at which we can ship a finished product.
